What’s been happening.
I’ve been without a refrigerator since Friday night. The repair guy came today and I paid him $75 to tell me he has to order two parts that will be here in 7-10 days and then it will cost me an additional unknown sum of money for the parts and installing them. My husband was supposed to be here, but he wasn’t. I’m pretty sure this guy was being honest and whatnot. Did I mention that $75 today was for 3 minutes of work? Oh… yeah, but thankfully they’ll take the $75 out of the future costs, so I guess it was free. Unless of course the parts and labor are more than we are willing to pay and then we’ll just be out our money.
Diva is in heat again which means she is sporting little boy underwear with a panty liner in them. I am the lucky one to get to take care of it most of the time. My daughter although 14 is squeamish about the whole thing. The worst part is when she goes outside without me knowing and pees. Yeah, that is loads of fun. Today she pooped in her little boy undies. The boy undies work great because you can put the tail through the opening in the front. This is her third heat cycle since we’ve had her. It will be her last because as soon as she is done she’s getting fixed.
My Mom came home last night after being gone for two weeks. I got to visit with her today for a bit and I hadn’t realized how much I had missed her. My niece graduated so my Mom went to visit and go to her graduation. My niece is a spoiled, ungrateful wench. But then she is her mother’s daughter.
Our house guest has left for the time being. His grandparents went out of town for a couple of weeks and he is looking after their house. Which begs to be asked why wasn’t he living with them in the first place? I’m not sure if he’ll be back. I myself couldn’t care less but my son will be heart broken if his bestest buddy in the whole world doesn’t come “home”.
My husband’s company has a new owner. He lives in our state, near where I grew up. He is going to stop in sometime to visit all the stores. I can only hope that will new blood comes change, for the better. But I will admit I highly doubt it.
This is our third week of summer and we’ve yet to do anything. But when my MIL asked if I wanted to make a trip to the Coast I declined. I don’t wish to drive 20 hours one way to go to the Coast. I will make a better effort to plan some things to do. I will be putting our pool up soon since the weather has definitely warmed up to stay.
I sent several of my friends an invitation to plurk.com. It is sort of like twitter but easier to use and keep up with your friends. I often forget to plurk but my daughter does often. I like that she updates her plurk often. She got her braces on Monday, she looks cute. Her mouth is very sore and she’d like them off already.
I guess that’s it.
