This is a vole and this is what I think is digging up my backyard. This morning when I was mowing the yard I saw a little rodent that looked like this scurry away from my mower. You bet your butt I tried to run him over, but he was quick. Shortly after that I got the willies and I don’t think I’ll ever go into my backyard again.
Sounds from my backyard recorded with my laptop. This brings me peace. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to get the sound on my blog. So we’ll see how well you can hear it. I love my windchimes and I wouldn’t mind a few more.
I’ve been learning more about going green and trying to implement it in our lives more. I can admit my attempts this far have been weak and I’ll never be totally green but there are things I can do to help. One of those things that we’ve been really trying to work on, is our use of electricity.
You guys know my love of vacuums. I have three dogs, two children and a husband who enjoys wiping the crumbs off the table and onto the floor. I haven’t even mentioned the Hand Vac and how awesome it would be for getting the dog hair out of my car after those trips to get their pawdicures. Just that little short trip there and back ruins my car and I have to get out the big loud garage canister vacuum. The Hand Vac has the same size battery as the stick vac and comes with a three year warranty.
Did I mention that same husband who likes to wipe the crumbs off the table and onto the floor also thinks that it is ok for the dogs to lick up the crumbs or that my normal vacuum works great on the kitchen floor? I’d rather he not bother because it drives me insane. I think for the sake of our marriage I need them both, stat!
I love you fridge. I will never again cuss you out, even when your ice cubes get all jammed up and I have to take stuff out to unjam you. I will never ever be mean to you or leave yucky left-overs in you. I promise I won’t even put all those magnets back up… just a few my very favoritest ones, oh and those pictures… just the three.
I’ve never been so happy to have my fridge back. Now if my washer would just stop acting a fool we’d all be happy.
