Buh bye, skankzilla.

My husband hired this girl… I don’t like her. She is a hoochie mama, she dresses horribly with skin tight clothes and massive amount of cleavage for someone who has NO tits. She’s only been working there for about 2 weeks, she requests weekends off, has traded shifts and missed shifts. Now today she is a no call, no show. She’s fired and I’m so glad.

Oddly enough her twin sister also works for my husband. They are fraternal and couldn’t be more different.

I made it my way.

Today was doing its very best effort to screw with me, but you know what? I beat the day. Woke up at the crack of too dang early (5:30am) so I could go to work with my husband. You know because I love him and I’m so nice like that. I didn’t ride in with him, I took my own car because I was going to be leaving before he would be leaving.

Well, that didn’t work out and we ended up leaving at the same time which makes me so mad because we just wasted a ton of gas. Then he ended up having to go back so we basically made three trips when we could have just made one. Wait… there is more. On the way home a truck threw a huge rock at my window and left a grapefruit size smashed spot. Lovely. Made me so mad.

I went with him back out to his store and on the way back home from the third trip out we got a flat tire on my husband’s car. We ended up trying to fill it twice before we just gave up and changed the tire on the side of the road. Not so horrible when it isn’t 95 degrees outside. Wait… one of the lug nuts broke off too!

But in the end, neither of us freaked out or got mad and we’re both pretty dang happy just to be home. The best part, we’re still all lovey dovey and snuggly too. Oh and he took tomorrow off so he could take the car into the guy who put the new tires on it so they can fix it, which means I get him home with me tomorrow. :)

Mondays don’t bother me during the summer time.

Hi Ho Hi Ho its off to work with my husband I go. I look forward to the three hours of quiet time alone in the store with my husband. I only hope the employees did a quality close last night, otherwise they might make him grouchy and if that happens I might poison the snacks I buy them.

Did I mention how pretty my desk looks with it’s new fancy legs? Other than hanging some things on the wall I think I might finally be finished with my room. I moved it around like it has never been before and it looks really … nice… grown-up…. fancy…. cool.

Happy Monday hope yours is extra groovy.

Only the good.

I’m going to do my very best to keep my post as positive as possible even though I’ve been struggling with the negative side of things. So here we go….

We went to a meet and greet for home school at the local Starbucks. We were able to meet several families but none of them had high school kids. There also weren’t any teachers or IDVA representatives. That was a big let down since it was promoted as such. There will be other opportunities to meet them so it’s all good.

The other day I wanted to lay down and take a nap when my son came running in to tell me the back yard was flooded. I thought he was making something up, but sure enough the backyard was flooded. Something was broken in the irrigation and water was spewing everywhere. I couldn’t get the water to shut off so I had to call the irrigation company and they sent someone out quickly. My father-in-law came over the next day to help me fix it. Lots and lots of muddy spots left from the creature digging in my yard, but I sprinkled them with grass seed so it worked out.

My in-laws all took us out to dinner for my husband’s birthday last month. They had wanted to do it sooner but we couldn’t before they left for vacation and they had just gotten back in town. It was a nice lunch and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. I usually never mind going out to eat with them, except for that one time we went to the Slaughter yard and had hamburgers. GAH!

I moved my room around today and it looks cool…. although I’m not totally content with it yet. I will finish it tomorrow and then I think I’ll move my living room around. I am not content with it, the funny thing is we are never out there. Even when we watch tv as a family we all come in our room. Our biggest tv is in the playroom (NOT MY IDEA) and the next biggest is in ours. and the living room has probably one of the smallest tvs. We do play WII in the living room because it has the most amount of space to move around in.

The kids and I went on a bike ride today. We hadn’t been on a ride for several days because it was so damn hot. Almost high 90’s and low 100’s for the past week or so. We have been in the pool almost every day though and my son and I are getting quite the tans, although my legs are still white. My daughter is just like me when I was younger and she’s white as milk.

So yeah, mostly everything is good. I’m not looking forward to school starting and I’ve pretty much just ignored the date in my mind. I was slightly annoyed to see the stupid school supplies at Target and again at Wal-mart. That’s just mean.
