Social Spark works for me!

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

I signed up for SocialSpark. Social Spark is a cross between say myspace/facebook for the social aspect and blogcatolog/stumbled/digg for the spark part. Advertisers pay for you to write posts about their products or services. Once you sign up for SocialSpark they’ll approve you blog and you can begin writing posts and getting paid.

SocialSpark

Here you can see the different types of jobs available to me and the prices they pay. If certain job looks interesting you will click on the link and they will tell you the types of things they’d like to see. You are always supposed to give an honest opinion and not just make up things you think the advertiser will want to see. That is just one of the many bonuses with Social Spark you have -100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure -100% Transparency -100% Real Opinions! Another benifit is that with SocialSpark they are 100% Search Engine Friendly!

SocialSpark Profile

This is my Social Spark profile. Here you can see when I joined, my friends, my props (which I need more of!) as well as some information about me and my blogs. When I click on a job I can choose to accept it, after doing so it will show the opportunity as reserved for me.

They will send you a message and you will have between 6 and 12 hours to complete the job. As you can see in this picture this post that I am making is worth $7.75. I need a minimum of 250 words and a couple of links. Since I already use social spark and enjoy using it it is extremely easy for me to write the post. Most posts don’t take too long to research and write. It is a super nice way to bring in extra income for my family. As you know I was recently able to buy my family the Guitar Hero game along with two guitars with the income made from my online posts. I like social spark and I think you will too.

Social spark for the mommy blogger.

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

I am what the majority of people would call a “mommy blogger”. Some Mothers hate that term, some mothers are thrilled they’ve reached the “rank” of “mommy blogger” and then there are those others who couldn’t care less. I myself fall into the last category. I personally don’t think just because I talk about my children and family that makes me a mommy blogger, but if people want to group me with the mommy bloggers so be it. I’m a mommy and I blog.

One thing though since I’ve been doing the occasional paid blog post it has been very nice to pay for my domain and hosting as well as buying things online with the money I’ve made. Blogging isn’t what it was when I first started doing it. Blogging was always a social thing, but now there is an even greater part the social plays into it. Payperpost has introduced SocialSpark

Right now it is in the Alpha phase, although you can sign up to be notified when it is open to everyone. Social Spark helps get bloggers and advertisers together. As a mommy blogger you can reach other moms as well as all parents with your thoughts and opinions. You can create extra spending money or secretly hide the money for a surprise for your husband and take him to a hotel over-night.

I was recently able to buy my daughter her PC tablet for her birthday with money I’ve made online. I paid all my credit cards for the past three months with just money from my paid posts, which enabled me to pay extra on other bills with my husband’s pay checks. I’ve always had my own type of income and I enjoy logging into my paypal account and see the money I can transfer to my account or spend.

Another great thing about Social Spark is the whole social aspect to it. You can meet so many different people who you will learn blogging tricks and tips from. I’ve come across blogs I wouldn’t normally read and have learned so much from people just like me.

Be smart, shop your loan.

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

There are all types of loans out there and it is so hard to find one that is right for you. It is so important to research before you borrow. The big financial wizards keep predicting a recession and jobs are being cut, left and right. Get your money in order with Debt Consolidation. You can search for any state and just about every city. It was easy for me to search for Idaho Loans just by going to the bottom of the page and looking for my state. This site is perfect to find any type of loan like cash advance loans, credit counseling, debt consolidation, tax relief,  refinancing or home mortgages.

Now is the time to refinance.

Monday, March 17th, 2008

I’ve mentioned before we did a mortgage refinance on our house. Originally I was just planning on going with the bank who had our current mortgage but then I thought I’d better shop around. With the interest rates going down and prices different in every location I searched for an Idaho Mortgage Refinance and then later got even more detailed with a search for Boise Mortgage Refinance. You complete a fairly simple application and you’ll be sent quotes from local banks as well as national lenders. You can even use their Mortgage Calculators to find out how much your house payment might be. If you are looking to do a Home Mortgage Refinance now is the time.

Defend your Identity with LifeLock.

Monday, March 10th, 2008

Just about every morning on our way to school we listen to the radio. I’ve told stories before about us calling and winning things. The kids and I have gone through several DJs. Our current one was hated in the beginning and we’re starting to like him … some…. but his Co-DJs, not so much. Well, just about every morning on the way to school we hear the commercial for lifelock. “Hi I’m Todd Davis and I’m so secure in our product I’ll give you my social security number.” I’m sure everyone has heard it. My 8 year old son knows all about identity theft all because of that commercial. We’ve actually had a couple of talks about it and he’d like to kick all bad peoples butts.

The thing is though, every 8 minutes someone’s identity has been stolen. I think lifelock is a good idea, about $10 a month you know anytime anyone tries to place a credit request on your name. If someone applies for a credit card in your name you’ll be sent a message you will be able to approve the action or report a fraud. If someone applies for a new cellphone you’ll be messaged to approve it or not. It is sad that we have to have so many checks and balances but it is even sadder when someone who has worked hard their entire life only to lose it all because someone stole their identity. Some of the Credit Reporting Agencies would rather you not have these types of protection. They sell products that do something similar at a much higher cost. They also incur more expenses every time an identity theft is reported. Look into it and see if it is right for you.
