It’s Just Me

Today was a huge let down, it always is. I often wonder when I’ll quit setting myself up for a fall. I do it almost every valentines day, birthday and our anniversary. I know my husband is not a gifty type of person. He has improved so much when it comes to Christmas presents. In past years I have never gotten a present from him and just this past year did he start taking the kids to get me presents.

Honestly it isn’t even about the presents. I don’t want flowers or a fancy dinner out or even chocolates (well, I do like the chocolates, but I do not need them). It would at least be nice to get some little acknowledgment.

So on Big Brother there has already been a couple that has had sex in the bathroom! For shame. Ok, they were a couple before they came in the house, they’ve been dating for 9 months or some crap, but still.

I called my Mom today to see what she was up to, then asked her if she wanted to go to Olive Garden for lunch. It was a great idea and meant a lot to her. I’m really glad I did it. We laughed at each other for watching other people and trying to eaves drop.
