It’s Just Me

I’ve been learning more about going green and trying to implement it in our lives more. I can admit my attempts this far have been weak and I’ll never be totally green but there are things I can do to help. One of those things that we’ve been really trying to work on, is our use of electricity.

You guys know my love of vacuums. I have three dogs, two children and a husband who enjoys wiping the crumbs off the table and onto the floor. So I’ve found something to help me save electricity and complete my vacuum love. With the Dirt Devil I get to easily vacuum and save energy! With the super fast charging called AccuCharge, the vacuum charges two times faster, then when fully charged the power is reduced which uses 70% less energy. It is the first cordless vacuum to be Energy Star approved.

The Dirt Devil Stick Vac is super cool and I would love to have it in my kitchen area so I could whip it out and catch all those floating dog hairs as often as I wanted. Then I could flip the roller bar to on and vacuum my throw rugs as well. Honestly I could see myself doing this every day if not twice a day in my kitchen. It folds in half so it doesn’t take up a lot of room to charge and store it. It also comes with a two year warranty.

I haven’t even mentioned the Hand Vac and how awesome it would be for getting the dog hair out of my car after those trips to get their pawdicures. Just that little short trip there and back ruins my car and I have to get out the big loud garage canister vacuum. The Hand Vac has the same size battery as the stick vac and comes with a three year warranty.

Did I mention that same husband who likes to wipe the crumbs off the table and onto the floor also thinks that it is ok for the dogs to lick up the crumbs or that my normal vacuum works great on the kitchen floor? I’d rather he not bother because it drives me insane. I think for the sake of our marriage I need them both, stat!

Now that is just music to a Mother’s ears. I’ve talked about this beautiful vacuum before. In fact I think I may have an unhealthy addiction to staring at pictures of this particular vacuum. The Dyson DC 17 Animal. Doesn’t it just sound like a rough and powerful vacuum?

I really need that quick-draw telescope for cleaning cobwebs off my high ceilings. Because I so enjoy doing it with a broom and having it fall into my face.

The Dyson Animal is easy and super quick to empty and you never need to buy bags, which I’d love considering the price I pay for my vacuum cleaner bags and how often they need to be replaced with the three mutts and two munchkins running around the house.
